Longer evenings, warmer weather and some sunshine in places; There's only one thing for it... BBQ! Ever since i can remember, sunshine has always instigated cracking out the BBQ and smashing some meaty goodness on the grill. Since living on my own it's been up to me to man the coals and cook.

The knowledge and skill of BBQ should be passed down through the generations to ensure that the man of the house can, despite any unfortunate weather or environmental conditions, still setup, light and cook on a BBQ for his guests.

It seems like i'm not alone in this and what was originally a solo mission for me and Bec has turned into a weekend event with a few close friends coming over with beers and various meats. The cliche man tasks of radiator bleeding, carpentry, DIY and the ability to mend or at least diagnose anything on a vehicle is definitely superseded by the ability to cook food on a BBQ. The knowledge and skill of BBQ should be passed down through the generations to ensure that the man of the house can, despite any unfortunate weather or environmental conditions, still setup, light and cook on a BBQ for his guests.
