Late Night

When you’re customising/modifying a motorbike, once you get going, it’s really hard to stop. Time seems to disappear in the best way. You’re completely immersed in the task in hand and the evenings just vanish. This is what happened the last night. I went over to Chainsaw Motorcycles to get the Bonneville another few steps closer to being “finished”.

I’ve been living in Preston for nearly 7 years now and i’ve been living in this street for close to 5 of those but i’ve never taken my camera out for a walk around the immediate locality of my flat.

It’s funny how things change when you physically can’t do anything more than walk about 500ft without being in pain.

Since i’ve been laid up in bed with my post-op elbow, i’ve been missing the outdoors quite heavily. I decided i’d go for a little wander locally to get some fresh air. The allotments down in Penwortham are lovely, my name has been on the list to get one for ages, i really hope i get mine soon.

Next door were having a mini bonfire in their garden. The one thing i love more than the smell of burning leaves is the noise, that crackling sound is just perfect.

These 2 seriously just love to sit around the flat and watch the world go by. The weather is generally awful outside and i can totally understand why they do this. I’d do the same if i had the option. From day 1 they’ve been best friends!
